Interim Fixes: Notes 901FP3IF3 / Domino 901 FP3IF2 available with TLS 1.2 support

Transport Layer Security (TLS) ensure confidential network communication between application and Internet users.
Notes 9.0.1 FP3 IF 3 and Domino 9.0.1 FP3 IF2 or above starts to support TLS 1.2 .
After installing Notes 9.0.1 FP3 IF 3 / Domino 9.0.1 FP3 IF2 , HTTP, SMTP,  LDAP,  POP3, IMAP Protocols support TLS 1.2 .

Before installing Notes/Domino 901 FP3 IF3/IF2, you should install Notes/Domino 901 FP3 , then follow steps below:
1) Shutdown Notes client or Domino server processes
2) Find appropriate fix for specific platform, download and install
3) Launch Notes client or Domino server

Kindly notice:
1. Java support for TLS 1.2 (included in the JVM embedded with Notes & Domino) requires separate fixes, please refer to: Security Bulletin: Multiple Vulnerabilities in the IBM Java SDK affect IBM Notes and Domino (Oracle January 2015 Critical Patch Update)
2. TLS support for DIIOP is not available at this time. The request has been submitted to Quality Engineering as SPR# ITDL9U329W.
3. These Interim fixes do not support TLS 1.1,  IBM do not plan to support TLS 1.1 yet.
4. Since Interim Fixes do not permit changes to the user interface or to templates used for configuration (e.g. Domino server document, Internet site document where SSL is configured), all SSL configuration options remain in the UI. However, as mentioned above, the installation of this Interim Fix will override your existing configuration with support for TLS 1.2
5. Interim fixes still support SSL V3 by default for backward compatibility. To disable SSL V3, please add following notes.ini parameter on Domino server

Security Bulletin: IBM Domino LDAP Server (CVE-2015-0117),SSL V2 (CVE-2015-0134) & Notes System Diagnostics (CVE-2015-0179) vulnerabilities


Problem Summary: IBM Domino has an LDAP remote execution vulnerability, an SSL V2 buffer overflow vulnerability and an NSD privilege escalation vulnerability.

The Domino LDAP server vulnerability is tracked as SPR KLYH9SLRGM and fixes 9.0.1 Fix Pack 3 Interim Fix 1 , 8.5.3 Fix Pack 6 Interim Fix 6 are available.

The Domino SSL V2 vulnerability is fixed on all 8.5.x and 9.0.x releases. 9.0.1 Fix Pack 2 Interim Fix 3, 9.0 Interim Fix 7,  8.5.3 Fix Pack 6 Interim Fix 6 , 8.5.2 Fix Pack 4 Interim Fix 3 , 8.5.1 Fix Pack 5 Interim Fix 3 removed SSL V2 support in favor of SSL V3 and TLS.
   
The Notes/Domino NSD privilege escalation vulnerabilty is tracked as SPR TCHL9SST8V and fixes 9.0.1 Fix Pack 3 Interim Fix 1 , 8.5.3 Fix Pack 6 Interim Fix 6 are available.
